The first of all I should tell you that there are 2 ways to root devices
1. Using pc (using odin)
2. Using applications on your phone
Me and some of my friends who have galaxy note 10.1 2014 have tried to root this device, I guarantee and bet you that your note 10.1 2014 will DEFINITELY BE BRICKED USING ODIN , so I'm sure your device will definitely (100%) brick after pc rooting, because WE HAD TRIED IT!
The sign of being bricked in this device is that after automatic restart(after rooting with odin) it keeps restating with no new result. In that case KEEP CALM and follow this procedure:
1. PRESS & HOLD POWER key for some seconds in order to restart the tablet. This makes your device go out of that bad condition. Remember that after some seconds after force restart it would go in bad condition again. (You should do the step2 fast after first step)
2. After the first step that your device restarted by your force, quickly PRESS & HOLD POWER + VOL- key. (This way you can stop your device of being restarted again and you make your device go to DOWNLOADING MODE)
3. Congratulations you have stopped unwanted restaring!
